The brief was to bring physical ANC archival material, going back more than a 100 yrs, to life on a medium just over 20 years old.

Aside from preserving the original archive material in a digital format, the reason for publicizing the archive material was to promote the ANC brand, integral history, core values and beliefs of the party. The project aims to make the public aware of the party’s iconic historic events and role of the ANC’s leadership, which they perhaps would not have been exposed to other than through the digitization of this unique content.

This video showcases Creative Spark’s development of the Etv interactive platform, the platform needed to create more interaction around ETV shows. The idea was to use the strengths of the internet medium and user interactivity to add value to ETV’s successful television product.

3 Cities Hotel Group

Three Cities Hotel Group were looking to redesign their website complete with new corporate branding, improved security, and smooth integration.

The design is clean, using their corporate colours of white, grey, pink and black creatively and subtly in order to direct visitors to their specials and booking engine.

WordPress Creator Matt Mullenweg visits Creative Spark Offices

WordPress founder and open source advocate Matt Mullenweg dropped by the Creative Spark Interactive and Memeburn offices today to speak about how WordPress went from a blogging platform to the CMS of choice for around 15% of the web. He was interviewed in the company of a few of CSI’s clients and the entire Creative Spark and Memeburn contingent.

Good Work Foundation

Creative Spark have been tasked by The Good Work Foundation, based in Hazyview South Africa, to redesign and develop their website. The websites main aim is to attract users including sponsors , donors, mentors and the general public; predominantly in the US, UK, Aus and South Africa.

It is necessary that the new website encourages donations, participation, visitors, mentorship and volunteers with a progressive and sophisticated online presence. We are very pleased to be a part of this worthwhile cause.

ETV Launch

We are excited to announce the launch of our biggest project to date, the brand new e.tv website which was designed and developed for Drupal by Creative Spark with features such as video on demand, an interactive TV Guide, branded show pages and SMS reminders. A smartphone and tablet version are launching soon and we’ll show these off in our next newsletter. Full bragging rights to our team for yet another successful and smooth launch!

Om te Skryf

Project in progress. Creative Spark has been commissioned by Naspers to design and develop an HTML5 tablet webapp and website version of Om te Skryf, a new Afrikaans book (to be released in November 2012) featuring excerpts, lessons and exercises that teach the reader how to write good Afrikaans prose. The webapp and website will be published entirely in Afrikaans, and built on an enterprise-level WordPress installation for content management.
