Creative Spark was approached by Craig Venter, former Altron CEO, to pitch for the full service digital marketing of his new online sports betting startup – ClickaBet. Attracted by our agency’s strong entrepreneurial culture, innovative approach and technical expertise, ClickaBet awarded us the account.
We got stuck in straight away setting up their content marketing strategy, platforms, SEO and paid media, and recently launched #GameFace, ClickaBet’s first major campaign to build brand credibility and attract new users.
The campaign is social media driven and includes user-generated content, multiple digital platforms, and a mechanic designed to drive acquisition of ClickaBet website users. With a prize up for grabs to watch the match with world-renowned referee, Jonathan Kaplan, users are invited to submit their “GameFace” with a rugby match results prediction, plus invite their friends and family to like the photo.
Each #GameFace entry is followed up via Facebook Messenger with a promotion and invite to sign up to ClickaBet. The Cheetahs rugby union, with whom ClickaBet has a sponsorship relationship, also promotes the campaign via social media.
