Strategy & Website

e.tv is Creative Spark’s oldest client, and has been engaged with us in a strategic and build execution partnership for over five years. Our relationship started with developing a digital strategy for eNCA (formerly eNews) at group Exco level. On the back of this engagement we were asked to develop a digital strategy for the core e.tv channel, including monetising the www.etv.co.za site, technical strategy, integration with new EPG software and deploying Video On Demand.

We also won the execution of e.tv’s strategy – a relationship we hold to this day. Creative Spark redeveloped the e.tv website on one of the largest open-source CMS solutions in the country at the time (Drupal).

We also pioneered a full-canvas design, with a mobile-first approach for e.tv’s 80%+ mobile visitor base. We’ve driven e.tv through several more design iterations, including background video integration, and expansion to include a multichannel, HD offering, and won a Bronze pixel for the site at The Bookmarks 2015.
