Kimberly Clark South Africa approached us to take over their social media presence, chiefly their Facebook page. They were looking to partner with an agency who could tap into their unique local audience and cultivate meaningful conversations with the community.
We put in place a strategy that focuses on giving young girls the tools they need to champion their own progress. These tools included study tips, fun life hacks, and inspiration, but also information on periods using Kotex’s medical expert, and contextualising Kotex’s product offering in the lives of its audience.
In less than a year engagements rose from just a couple of hundred, to almost two thousand. We reached over 1.1million more girls each month, and saw an increase in positive sentiment too.
The Facebook community resonated well with our new strategy, and the comments received were a reflection of this.
